If your dream of making that game doesn't care how "pro" you are, you could always realize it using Game Maker (www.gamemaker.nl). Much easier to learn/use than actual programming languages, I think, but just as versatile for 2d games.
Not cloned but the inspiration is obvious. Cute and simple only the black outlined shows its amateur nature. The sprite doesn't stand out enough for in-game use and should be recolored. Perhaps in the purple range.
