Just an animation I've been messing with lately. It's supposed to be some type of alien in Goth gear. I'm slightly satisfied with it, however, I'm always open to suggestions. So, got any? *UPDATE*: Due to recent critiques, I've decided to update it and give it another bounce with the blink, to break the halt of motion...any other suggestions?

I love this, but yeah, I must agree, but what is missing in my humble opinion is the volume of the tentacles. I think that he lacks the gravity of the lower torso... IT looks like these tentacles aren't able to hold his body or move it.. I just think that you should just make them a bit bigger, or what jal said. :)

Really love how squishy the head comes across. The arm movement and overall liveliness is really impressive!

It has your animation trademarks, but there's something about the palette (I think because you've been reserved enough not to overdo it with black) that shows your development here over previous works.

Some (well most) of this is greatly designed and envisioned, not to mention colored and animated. I too can't pinpoint what is missing here, but this feels incomplete somehow. Perhaps the undersides of the tentacles don't weigh it down enough because the color is the same all around them. The suit seems of the right weight and the head, with the exception of the 'jump/stop' works well too. It must be something in/on the tentacles. Still cool though.

Its a great animation, very original character design
I dont like how its head stops as it blinks, makes it all a little bit less fluid, but its not a technical fault or anything.

hey, that's pretty nice. i would only suggest fixing the jumpy highlights on the gear. pretty much all of them are warping a bit too much. i would like to see more fluidity, esp. on the highlights at the bottom.

He's a cute one!

Most of the tentacles seem to grow and shrink through out the animation, especially the center tentacle.

Other than that, the animation doesn't seem to coincide with itself. It's very random feeling and I think that it keeps me from understanding it completely. My mind perhaps, is trying to fill in what's not there. I can't say exactly what isn't there but something's missing.

Adorable! What does it eat?
It's brilliantly animated, however I noticed a few glitches...
First, the dark green shadow up on the head is illogical when the alien bobs it's head to the left (it's left side).
The other glitch is the second tentacle from the left (our left), it darkens suddenly in one frame.
