not really.  while participation is wanted, quality is still a factor.  if you put little effort into something, then it won't be accepted, like every piece.

you have a few more hours left, try taking jalonso's tips and improve this so it will be accepted into the comp.

Great idea but your execution did not come through. Maybe make its head transparent (glass) so that its more 'household itemy'.
