Poor little mooserack, he tried to reach out to his fellow coatracks, but had to sacrifice a bright career - holding coats at PJ headquarters. Now he must live out his days in this snooty home.
Not sure how many colors, but should definitely be under 32.
I love what you've done with the pixel patterns in the background, the great palette and the socialite lady looks really nice. The breasts angle a little weird, but other than that great stuff.
So, I went to mooseracks.com and there's nothing there... that's a terrific domain name. You should snatch it up if it's available -- very memorable and short.
I love it! Great work leel. I thought it was a brilliant pixel piece before I even realised it was a weekly challenge entry. Both facial expressions are gnarly and the story of the moose's demise charming.
well.. the reason he has a really long neck and no arms is because he is half coat rack and half moose. I originally intended to make a moose working as a coat rack, but ens said it had to be genetically half animal half item. So the neck is the pole. And I kept the legs because 1. I thought they were funny, 2. The pole needed a base.
I'm not extremely happy with how the moose worked out, but it's more recognizable now than a different version with a whole moose body and the .. hanger things sticking out all around his head. It just looked wrong. Not that this looks right in any way, but at least you can still tell what he is by the antlers..
The woman's face was quite a challenge, I don't like small things >_< But I think I made her greasy and mean enough : )
The moose doesn't really look much like a moose other than the antlers and head. The neck is like a giraffe and he only has two legs :\
This still shows a lot of improvement in your abilities. I especially like how clearly you've gotten the woman's face and how you've shown the direction of the hair. Well defined forms overall really.
