@alk: I really have no idea what a jellyfish lamp would do lol. I think the movement of the jelly would alter the direct light towards the floor....but the contrast should probably be much lower than what I have due to the glow. @ everyone else: thnx!

if the jelly fish is translucent, then how could it affect the lighting like that? wouldn't it  be glowing all around? like the animation though. looks good.

maybe you should add wiggly tentacles too :) like fringes on a lamp!
