This is a drawing of a koi (karp). It was inspired by the popularity of koi tattoos. The patterning of the scales is on purpose (even though they flatten the image). I am a formalist at heart, and thus the patterning became very important for the image. I will probably be reducing this to three colors for a painting.

I love this! Such a unique style... the water seems 'alive'. The patterns really work, though I would try for less colours.

This is very nice, maybe leave the white background though.
