I think you lost a bit of the character with the edits. The shape of the hair, as well as the area below the chin are the main areas affected. Also, it looks a little too faded out now. I'll try and do a little edit to show you what I meant. I think the combination of the two you have would work well.
Maybe some eyelashes would do the trick. When I look at her, she reminds me of elizabeth swann trying to be a guy pirate. She has an almost but, not quite enough, feminine look.
As for the colors. I like them all except the harsh outlines. I'm not a hater of dark outlines but for the color style you're going for, I don't think it works. Since the colors are light and washed out, I think the outlines should accentuate that. Maybe outlining the shapes with slightly darker shades of their respective colors would help.
That's my two cents. Overall it's very pleasing though.
Agreed, great to see you back in bussiness! One thing: Anne? I wouldn't have been able to tell this was a girl if it werent for the name. She doesn't show any obvious feminine features atm. The lips are something that can make her look slightly feminine, but currently the lips look more like she just has her mouth open. Nice colours certainly, reminds me a bit of Larwick. Maybe you should make the hair a bit more straight or curly instead of this pointy style? Mostly the girls don't have it. Unless it's meant to be a bit of a boy-ish girl.
