I was bored a school so I started that, and I got hooked up to it. Decided later on to add a second lightsource that would be green and overdithered, and well it worked, and I'm pleased with it.

Personally I like the "interlaced dither" and I think it adds something to this piece. Agreed about neck as it seems really overbrightened. The thing that bothers me most of all is his beard (the dithering inside of it).
Still could be a great recognizable avatar for you :)

Not a fan of the interlaced dither, to be honest. He also seems to have a bulging neck. Could be a tumor, I don't know. I do like the character design though. Also, his top/right horn seems last minute(or is it hair?). To be honest, the grey/green dither work makes it seem like grey face paint from afar. Could be me though. Either way, I'm glad you posted something. You should like, pixel more often. Pixel art has been clinically proven to fight cancer...and aids....and killer puppies.
