I think you went for the right colours (taken from his buenzli cow picture I'd guess), those ones scream "tomic" immediately :)Dithering and antialiasing is a bit messy though, while tomic is usually very precise for that...

you say it lacks any sence of care? lol? do you have any idea how long it takes to mimic a style of dithering like tomics?

You really went for it and its obvious you tried your best to get the 'look and feel' tomic uses. For that alone its good but because you challenged yourself its awesome...you will most likely get one of my vote :)

althougth this submission fails at some anatomy issues and proportions, and lacks any kind of care, i'll say i don't know why this is in the gallery.

i couldn't tell which side had the thumb for a while there. the ring finger combined with the pinky looks like it could be a thumb. at least to me.Keywords

yeah, colors from his cow picture, mixed in with a few of my own =) thank you for the critique, i will be sure to keep those things in mind next time i try a style similar to this. if you look through my gallery, you will probably find i dont dither much (usto in my older works much more then i do now) and as im so out of practice, it tends to look a bit crappy. then again, it just shows how much i need to practice =P
anyway, thanks again for the tips! im off to watch 300! (again!)
