i got bored and made this hope you like it =). picture is of someone standing on a ledge fishing mainly trying some stuff out in this. I think the best view of this is zoomed in twice. UPDATE: Added my try at a brighter pallete :/

since its a happy/relaxing scene, I'd say the brighter defenitely works better.

that is much better, :) black should only really be used when there is no light whatsoever hitting a surface, or for style choices such as outlines, etc. But yes it looks much better now

Loop that is one thing i'm trying to improve, i just can't seem to get a brighter pallete right at anytime.

You should use brighter and more saturated colours to match your drawing style.
