Due to i'ts generally "inhumane" design and concept, The ME land class prototype weapons deployment was conducted in secret on the small lunar research post IO DELTA 11. Intel suggests a large civilian class transport vehicle was taken hostage by the small prototype platoon, before a staged crash landing took place 20 knots off of IO 11's southern barracks. Less than 24 hours after the Platoon landed, Hydrogen weapons were detonated within IO's sub-level complex, eliminating all evidence of any attack taking place.
intel reports the entire exercise was 100% successful, and that resistance was minimal.
