yeah amon amarth is hell cool. pursuit of vikings is just amazing! No i know what you mean about it being soothing. I think this is because metal is deeply rooted in classical music which gives it a really emotion an satisfying feel. the thing is, once your a meetal fan, your always a metal fan. people on the outside just can't get over the fact that it's heavy and sometimes satanic. well I finished the sprite man. let me know what you think

   My death metal fav is and forever will be Dismember. Other favorite bands of different metal genres are:  Kalmah, Bolt Thrower, Vader, Behemoth,  Kataklysm, Devil Driver, Callenish Circle, IRON "Forking" MAIDEN,  Sabaton, Amon Amarth( this is an actual "viking metal" band), Anata, Testament, In Flames(older), Disarmonia Mundi, and many others...I'm still new to metal (about a 1 year, and a half), but I must say, metal music gives me a much more gratifying feeling than other genres out there, which leave me empty after each song. It fills the void, and NOT in the " I hate my life" sort of way. I find it very soothing, to be honest.
   But yeah, you needz to git' your arse in gear with the contrast majigger..."I can'tz seezzz...zz.." heh, heh.

ya, black metal is definetly silly, but emperor is just the coolest. I highly suggest going to www.myspace.com/emperorhorde and listen to "curse you all men" its symphonic black metal, makng it 8 times more brutal. also, if your into death metal go to myspace.com/extol and listen to "undecieved" its melodic death metal. The one thing i love about black metal is that they sing about vikings alot. (cradle of filth is laaaaame. mayhem burzum and emperor is were it's at.) But ya I know what you mean about needing contrast, i whipped this guy out in maybe 30 minutes, so it's far from being refined... I think I'll fix it up right now haha

Hey if it's metal, than it rocks in my book ( I'm actually more partial to death metal, than black...not into the whole black leather, and face paint deal, like Immortal,  Cradle of Filth, and whatnot...Not to say that they suck, just not my bag..)

   The piece itself looks pretty good. However, with the current p.j., pixelation tribute theme I got going on, it's kind of hard to tell the difference of color in his pale skin tones and the background it's layed out against. Maybe a darker outline around his body, and a lighter white/or lightest hue might brighten things up a bit. Also, the gray spikes/pixels seem to be blending in with one of the skin tones you selected. In other words, I think contrast is the fixer upper, to be honest.
   Either way, it's metal, so it's cool with me anyhow...
