i wanted to do an animation of a flowering cherry tree... and this beast ran away with two weeks of my free time. The tittle of this piece should be "just because you can, doesn't mean you should".
i got the composition from a google image search of "cherry branch".

The picture is nice overall, but the animation is awkward. The blossoms look like they're pouring down in a stream. It would look much more convincing if they were to float back and forth in a sort of arc while eventually hovering downward
I think the lines of the cherry tree could have been cleaned up and rounded out before animating, but meh, I don't think you want to go in and fix it now, haha.
And also, my band director says that all the time.
