This may be output resolution and lossy defaults. It just doesn't make sense otherwise. The razor blade I think clearly shows this. Maybe re-gif it? If you use PS, try using 'save for web' so you can see ALL the output items.
I've seen pieces get rejected for using gradients. But I guess that's up to the big boys to decide. Oekaki, gradients.. I wonder if there is a comprehensive list of prohibited content.
I wasn't striving for a limited palette with these. I layer with a semi-transparent pencil which accounts for a high palette .. altho 4847 seems a tad bloated. A couple of these are guilty of gradients, but outside of that .. all i used was pencil (1 pixel) , eraser, circle and line. Are gradients frowned upon here? I'll gladly remove it if so.
I used a circle tool if thats what you mean. Every pixel gets touched in a 15x15 canvas.
Hmm .. altho it looks like i did use a gradient on the planet. horseshoe and eye are 100% pushed.
