Mew and Roverandom nearing the End of the World and flying off to the Moon.

*edit* I've changed the shading on Mew and Rover, and added a 'moon path', the one they supposedly used to fly up there :)

 I love Tolkien, and I love this shading style. I think the characters don't quite match up in style to the sort of painted background - they're more cartoonish, and are dithered in a more typical way - but the whole thing looks nice nonetheless.

Very nice..kind of .. poetic ^^ ..
(composition wise, it would be slightly better to have the beak not just touching the edge of the cloud but overlaying it a bit more..)

thanx for comments and critics, i'll add some more details later :)
it started as a very narrow pic, where the moon was on top, but i found it kinda hard to place the seagull&dog on that one... so I expanded it a bit :P
also, the swirly skies was inspired by Van Gogh's painting, as I've recently returned from Amsterdam and the Van Gogh Museum :)

Its pretty nice, i love the way you made the background almost painted like. The composition is a bit bland to me ( moon in a corner, character in the other, and a swirl in the middle) but it still works and thats fine.

Good job on this, i give it 4/5
