The jump animation looks a little weird to me. Instead of making it stretch vertically depending on how high it is... At the jump momentum, make it stretch down back at its normal size, and then stretch vertically again when it falls back. the deformation should be at its highest while the bow-wow is in the middle of its ascencion and descent, not at the jump's highest point. I think that would greatly improve the feel of it.
