Friggin badass man.  I love a lot of DS 2D art and this is a great example.

tis quite beautiful indeed, only thing that bugs me is the thickness of the sprites legs.

This is great. The portrait reminds me of Miyazaki's (Spirited Away, Nausicaa) work.

But I have to agree with the other commenters about the font. The font sucks. Even with a seven-pixel monospaced font, you can do better than this. I wouldn't go on about it, but everything else is so good, it's a shame to have the font mess things up.

And I thought I already found an awesome ds mockup...Until I checked this one. Awesome colors and design. Fave'd

ive never had a ds or anything like that (allways being a playstation guy) but would seriously consider getting one just from seeing this!

What kind of game is it ? platform, A-RPG like Castlevania ? What is the release date in France ?

wow the top screen is really beautiful.. BG, sprite and portrait are awesome
(as already said, the font , and for me, the BG of the bottom screen don't fit the style..)

Being the bastard I am, I will blame my programmer (sorry man: ) for the crappiness of the font, as he decided to display it as tiles on the foreground layer. Not only it robbed me of an additional scrolling layer, but it also decreased the number of tiles I could use for the environments. I will bug him for a nice sprite-font routine next.
This is in fact a screenshot taken with ensata.. The "mockup" reference is a simply my bad choice of text for the dialogue test routine.

I would make the font dark it could end up being easy to read. Other then that great work.

The only thing that bugs me >> the fonts. Not that they're ugly, it's just hard to read.

Beautiful, beautiful work.

Great work i like much the big sprite(Im very bad for big sprites..), and the background is nice.

The only think i not like is the map/letters is a little hard to read fast.

I really like the portrait, but for some reason it looks like it doesn't match the sprite that much.

The font is ugly. Aside from this. This is purely amazing!

I think my favourite bit is the highligh on the jacket of the portrait. Everything else is excellent also.
My only crit is that the font is rather unreadable. This is partly because the background for text is too contrasting, and partly because the outline of the font is not implemented very well.
Seeing how everything else is flawless, you should really fix this.
