I think it's too tall for an avatar. maybe if you cut of the bottom part in the preview it'll work for an avatar.

you've really developed a recognizable style, i knew this was yours right away. Not so keen on the tight pants but the love the colours of the jacket and hat. Cool character.

That's because it's too tall. 64x64 is the icon limit.
