It's nice for its simplicity... though I wouldn't exactly call it very decorative. By modern fantasy standards, it's pretty baseline plain. But yeah, center it to the background.

Maybe give the blade some more shine and make the edges more prominent. Blade kind of looks like it's just been machine punched out of a sheet of metal.
