I stole the idea of making a pokemon style sprite from Ensellitis, and the idea of making Sadako(Samara in English) came from Kfuchoin, because his sprite has his hair in his face, and it reminded me of that chick on the ring.
When I was looking for reference, I learned that chromosonally, Sadako is XY, meaning she's actually a dude. She has what we call Testicular Feminization Syndrome, which gives her the apperence of a woman, but she has external testes. Just in case you were wondering...
