The TV: light doesn't work like that. :) Light spreads out from the source, even in the case of a laser. In the case of a TV, the light is emitted in a pretty wide area, although not all the way around like a light bulb. You've got it pretty much like a lens-focused flashlight pointed at the floor, although it still seems to be casting some shadows. The bottom-right part of the couch's shadow should be at more of an angle, if you look at the TV screen, such that the gap between it and the box/table next to it would be filled in.
Where's the light coming from that's going through the window on that one door? It appears to be really close to the door, yet the shadows in the room it's coming from are all projected toward the door, and...well...it doesn't really look like there's any light at all, because nothing is lit up more than anything else, and there's no light source.
Oh, yeah, and there's no door handle on that blue room's door. I suppose the little keypad next to it is what opens it, or it's a push-door? :) For your being new to pixel art, it's a pretty awesome start. Apparently, it's really old, too. I shouldn't comment like this on old stuff. :P
This is excellent! Although I do agree with Jals comments about the scale (I though there was something looking a bit strange, but couldn't put my finger on it), nevertheless it is a very atmospheric ISO
I really like the light going through the window.
But the light coming from the tv looks like its trying to abduct the carpet UFO style.
It seems a little to focuse don one area, where the light wouldnt normally do that.
You could spread it out and give it a larger circular shape of the light on the carpet.
And maybe not make it as bright.
Gahh! Super!
