I got kinda sloppy on the up/down views, but it was fun to work at none the less.

This reminds me of metal slug. Like Grave said, it's definitely not noobish. What is it with people complaining about the amount of colours? Surely it's up to the artist how many colours he wants to use.

They look pretty solid. Not n00bish at all.

But why do the two different views have different pallettes?

Also, madartiststan, if you worry about things getting stolen. Then dont post your stuff online. Its as simple as that.

Welcome to pj buddy ol pal, Would be better off just posting one view of the sprite instead of the whole sheet! Things get stolen like that! Plus it adds to the cool factorness.

But on to a more serious point, 23 colors? You could definitely shorten that up and put in quite a many less colors and it'll still look just as good.
