I helped a friend to remake a blade on a sword the he named "Azure Skies Cutlass", c&c? My version is the top one, and his the bottom one. Ignore the hilt though!

The blade is light blue due to the name azure ("Azure is a blue color, about halfway between blue and cyan, which resembles the sky on a clear day."). So it was kinda intentionally to make it not look like metal!

The top sword looks more like ice than metal. I recommend having a look at how metal looks. Especially where light hits it.

It's not to bad though!

While your version is definately an improvement. I think the color of the actual blade looks really bad on both. Make it more grey, less blue.
