Lovely. My fav bit is the facehugger hiding under the table. Only crit I have is that the door looks as though it's closed.Welcome to the weekly challenges. What a great start!

Reminds me of Blue Gender. :PLooks, terrific, and I like that gritty look it's got.
The only thing that could be tweaked a tad could be the hatched eggs... I don't really like the openings. Maybe some different color or effect could be used...

I made the top of the wall like that to make the texture of the alien-gack stand out. I'll try making the top as it was with the bits that stick out in the same brownish colour as I used for the wall. Thank you for pointing that out, I'll get on fixing it. My laptop has two back-lights and the brightness is a little too high to notice.

I love the way you've worked in the theme of a casual person stumbling upon an alien nest. Terrific first iso attempt.
Only minor crit is the top border of the room... it looks a little jagged. I think it would be just as effective with a nice clean line or maybe a little AA to even it out.

What happened to the green color on the thing flying toward the person? It's got mad saturation--did something get messed up in palette editing or filetype conversion?
Other than that, it looks great, awesome breakage of the box and nice shading skills.
