Looks great and quite possibly whatever it fights with will add to it. As shown here it seems to want just a little more 'stuff'. A possible idea is on the center inner chamber as it opens have some elasticy stuff that pulls apart especially at the edges. Not too slimy, something like muscle fibers...huh...huh.

it reminds me of the Genma from Onimusha 3 or 2. That organic style is quite similar, but it still an awesome work! 5/5!
