Why did you claim these are sprite edits if you never saw the original ones?

Also, he doesn't need to link to link to FF sprites at all, if you want to see them, google them up...

the question was why he hadnt posted the orginals, because i havent seen them, and i would like to see how much they have been improved...  its the same principal as posting your refrence when you submit refrenced work.  someone needs to point us gaming newbies (like myself) at the originals.  and im not going hunting for these myself for the simple reason of not being my responsibliity.

Whoa, i was doing something similar to this the other day. Only with FF6, and i tried to do it from scratch.

What are you people talking about? They're remakes. He just took the originals, double sized them and then beat the shit out of them, creating these kickass sprites.

If you really think he cheated, why don't you produce some evidence and put what you think these were ripped off online?

Uh, I don't think such drastic overhauls could be considered edits, much less cheats, so much as heavily referenced. I mean,  geez, people, it's a very good remake of some old-ass sprites. Where's the problem in that? I'm sure its understandable that if you're gonna remake something, you gotta have a base to be remade. As long as he did like >93% of the work...

Plus, it's pretty obvious Mr. Sonic here isn't tryin' ta pull a fast one or anything (haha, I never understood the meaning of "fast one," much less why it's being pulled). But anyway, yeah, cool job, SR.

why are you submiting sprite edits? and why havent you posted the original sprites?

I'm not sure where all these accusations of "cheating" are coming from, or how exactly I "cheated".  Anyway, they have one leg because the originals had one leg.  Or hadn't you noticed :p

Just to clear the air. You have taken a reference in order to practice, have fun and teach yourself. Not to cheat, right?
