Yes, yes, that what I thought too! Eliminator boat Duel. Great NES game, one of my all-time favourites, but obscure. For the picture - personally I don't know why everybody concentrates on colour count so much. I think that feel and style of the picture means more that it's technical side.

WOW.......I just realised I'd practically have to remake the whole thing to get the colours down.....well I made it ages ago and I made it the way I make my vectors, with lots of layers and transparencies with overlays etc. etc. ......and I didn't really know the whole sorta 'law' of pixel art........sooo I'm just gonna leave it as is, and leave it as a learning experience :D

Nice work (but becareful of the colour count). I though of an old Codemasters/Oliver twins game called "Jetski Simulator " when I saw this....

First thing that came into my head with this piece is "Boat Duel" on Dendy, brings back memories. Good work, angle is ok too!

Ha, reminds me of Spy Hunter on the Spectrum. The scenery's nice, but the boat is let down rather by the hard angles. Putting a bit of work into making the transition between the prow and the flanks of the hull more curved would pay off greatly.

Oh, and 115 colurs seems a bit excessive for such a simple piece. I'm sure you could lose a few of those very-similar bluses and greys.

Anyway, I didn't want to totally rip into this. It's a cool idea, and the long vertical composition is really intersting. Definitely worth doing some more work on.
