1. it's not much of an evolution
2. its not realy the pokemon style

I don't think the idea is to just make an edit of the past state, I think you would have gotten more out of creating a new creature each time. The posing usually makes the difference, the first is usually very playful, the second ready for action and the last the peak of power. well thats how I imagine it.

very nice for a first, keep it up.
