I fixed the jaggedness and got better shading.

Woah, yeah, I can see how it looks like a ghost. The top of the head looks a litle odd.

it's very jaggy, and i actually thought it was a ghost until i read skull.

Use references until you're strong enough in your rendering to do stylized creative things.

You don't have to dither all your pieces. It's fine, but the way you dithered it didn't really add any shape to the piece. It looks pretty flat. Looking at the design, I'm sure you probably could have cut this to at least 4 colors. Oh my, the eye sockets are dithered as well.
