I can always fix the smoke and contrast later, but for now, I like him the way he is. The smoke was originally supposed to bekinda wispy in his first form (Chimnit, the little guy), then gradually get thicker and more textured as it went onto his final form. Since there was no room for the smoke, I never bothered to fix it. In the future, I'd really like to make a short battle intro animation with these guys, so I'll fix it then, I guess...

Not sure if I was commenting your pokemon but I find really clever, great idea. As for the art itself, I think you needed to add more contrast to get it look metallic, also metal usually have a bright reflections.
