I think this would be a lot more interesting if it wasn't exactly symmetric left to right. Maybe move the light source over to one side?

Interesting colors. Shape-wise it's pretty distinctly different from the original Valoo, although i'm not sure if you were aiming to restyle or to try and hit the original image on the nose.

he is nice, but if i look ar it when its size is x1, i cant see a reason why you put those white lines. they have no place in this pice.  a good one.
