Another experiment with squares.  I made a layout of 3x3 squares and chiseled away until I came up with this little scene.

Once in a blue moon the rain falls from the clouds and fills the lake.   That's about it!

This is really nice. It looks like a lot of planning went into this. The patterns are consistent, yet I can still make out all the different elements of the scene. It feels like you are viewing the storm cloud through some actual atmosphere.
