I really like the shape of the leaves, but I can't say I like the trunk quite as much as Daniel.

Nice. I like the gnarly trunk. If you're looking for ways to improve it, I'd suggest moving the lighter area of the laeves up and to te left slightly, to give a feel of directional lighting, and maybe highlighting a little on the trunk.
