A little weapon sprite I contributed to an opensource project a few years ago. Project name was GalaxyMage, but it appears that it's now pretty much dead :/

Hmm, you guys are right.
This isn't really pixel art, I'll take it down because it doesn't follow the guidelines for pixel art.

Seriously. You have 92 colors and about 105 or so pixels in the scimitar (counting the auto-aa). I have a hard time believing anyone would be able to waste that many colors manually.

You have way too many colours in this piece... an amount in excess of 50 colours is generally not seen in a pixel piece of this size. Seems that every non-white pixel is a different colour. I know this is an old piece, but many of the gradients you have can be replaced using techniques such as dithering without much loss of detail.
