Nice smooth movement! A little head bounce would help make it look like the guy is really moving.

yeah i was working in montreal - the spriters there were ace (hondo, shuh, etc) but having arthur(the allmighty ad) of the HQ living in my ass and demanding pixelized fotos was killing it for me...

anyway - where are you now?

Actually I went to London, and all their spriters were very sub-par. When I left, the manager/supervisor actually sent me an email pleading me to stay.

Darkbrown vs black thing is because of the style, so is the way it's animated. I know what you mean, it lacks realism, but then again... it's a chibi.

might I suggest lowering the body & head when the feet are farthest apart?

also that dark brown is pretty hard to tell apart from black. there are other nitpicky things like the way the arms & legs swing
