Well, you can for game projects and when your programmer gives you hell, you know. In Pixeljoint because we are pixelnerds and actually zoom in to everything to learn from others, filters or any other dirty tool are both unacceptable, a bad example but worse of all they make the artist appear n00bish. I could see you are not and really, really love your sprite so I wanted you to make a great first imperssion. You may want to switch your eraser setting no 'no-aa' in pencil mode to break them there bad habits ;)
Oh! So I cant use filters.... but you know its a good way to do shadows, but I'll change that, sorry. And that semi transparent pixels is from eraser tool, didn't noticed them whit transparent background.
Welcome to PJ. I really like this sprite but it has a major problem. The edges of the floor shadow and the many semi-transparent pixels around the sprite indicate that dirty tools have been used. These are against PJ rules. Please revise to make 100% pixelart goodness :)
