My first time with isometric text. I wanted an avatar and I was kinda bored. Some parts could be better (like the curve around the R), but it was all hand-made - no Photoshop twisting-rotating-letting the machine do the work for you, just me and my trusty brain cells.

You corrected my mistake. Being egotistical, I rushed through and called it 3D, I meant to say isometric though - whatever you call the text in big block letters at a ~26.525 degree angle. I agree I should fix the curves, but when I was making this piece I tried doggone hard to fix it, with no avail. :(
that's not 3D. there are some wrong lines in the curves, and the shadowings. i was looking for a 3d text tutorial(this looks more like isometric rather than 3d) but i couldn't find one. so i owe one for you.
