What's a 'fadatar'?

I agree with beatleux about the lip, the top one mostly. It kind of looks like he's pushing his face against glass or blowing air out.

It looks nice. Two things though:

1)  His lips look a bit weird. Maybe a smile on his face would look better?
2) The hair looks more like a hat than it does actual hair. Give it some texture!

Also, don't limit yourself to a gradient-style background. Put a sky behind you, or something!
