Well, to start, everything could use more contrasted colors. Especially if you are going to use suck dark outlines. You could probably cut down on the colors too. The persepective is off in some spots too. Where the two roofs meet looks wrong, the strait up line should be lined up with the roof that its against. Also remember that fire is light. So, the two walls near the fire should be lit up.
I have some newer, more realistic trees that I made separately and I was going to just paste them in, but they didn't fit the style as well. Like I said, it's old. I feel like if a pixel has elements that dont fit together well, it looks ripped. Even thought it's not, I feel like people would think it is, you know?
Anyhow, I'm planing on updating the whole thing later, and I'll add a background and stuff too.
Looks really peaceful. You should work on shading the trees though. Give them some texture! Unless those green spheres behind the house are umm... giant green bouncy balls. :P
