They say the alkonost has a voice so sweet that it will make anyone who hears it forget all they know... but her songs include those of sorrow, as well as joy. This started as an adaptation of an unfinished piece by Fool, and although I redrew the majority of it and painted over the rest, his work is definitely still in it . See his original here. Thank you to Fool! Although there's only 14 colours, for some reason the gif is saving it as 16. Confusing... And with this pixel, I'm a Level 5! Whee, 7 dots! EDIT: updated, with a few tweaks

This is great, lovely colours, nice detail (especially with her body and top of wings and around that area). I think you could've done with one or two more shades for something like the tail because i find the lack of them is quite visible there.

But yeah, lovely work! :D

I think the issue gas was reffering to is more that it seems to be in clumps..dreads..rather than strands. Perhaps try doing something like this?

. I've uploaded a slightly (very slightly) tweaked version.

Gas: I did try to give her hair a little bit of a clumped feel, so some of it was a style choice. However, I did tone down the darkest tones a bit in my update so the hair near the crown of her head is a little more smooth

Woah awesome choice of colors, you've gone really far from fool's piece. The only part I think need an improvement is the hair. There are contrast parts on the lightest part and that look like dreads (hope I wrote it right). I wish her hair look as narrow as the detail.

Maybe I'm wrong but you always have 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 and so on colors in your file.
