the sequel to my orca. edit: i've thinned it out and lengthened the snout, and i'm aware i haven't changed the icon. and i never will.

well... the pose, i may or may not do for my next piece. but the 2 px outline sounds good, i'll try that.

Bottlenoses are skinnier and have a longer snout. Also, I think next time you do a marine animal you should have a more interesting pose.

With the AA try a 2x pixel outline then AA

well, if i AA'd outside the object, it will look different (better or worse) depending on what skin you are using, it's supposed to look crisp on the outside.

try reversing your AA. right now the AA is done on the inside of the object, which doesn't do anything to smooth out the outside edges.

yes i know, but no matter what i do to it, the AA looks the same or worse. but i think when its on a light backround it looks sharply sel-outed

The aa'ing didn't do much, because it's still jaggy, but this still looks very nice
