Screen mock-up for a project I'm working on based on the old TV show... Trying  to get that 90's console game effect (simple effect with outlined main sprites, i.e., SNES's SOS, Prince of Persia, etc.). I welcome suggestions for the graphical options in this project.

Interior is very well-done, you can imagine it in something like Rolling Thunder, but characters must have more colors - they look very 8-bit. Also blasck outline inside the sprite can be avoided to look clearer. Also note that occasional "L"s (like on the shoulder and legs of protagonist) make sprite look dirtier. So, my suggest in general would rip Rolling Thunder's (or any other game you related to) sprite and closely look what it has what your sprites don't to make desired 16-bit effect. In other aspects I like it.
