For the Gluttony thing at dA...

" Report #33:
We can finally trace the subject's main traits. Reasons unknown, it's hair and fur is green and the skin, pink, while it ate most of his hair. We could say that it was some sort of mutation if we could actually come close enough to it to grab any DNA sample, but the fact is that the subject is extremely dangerous and God knows how the field staff managed to capture it as whenever seing anything alive, it becomes really agressive.
It's left eye focus on its next meal, while the right eye always seem to be looking for more food. With tests, we've seen it attacking photos and animals alike, never ceasing to devour everything that remotely looked like food. Also noteworthy, it's sharp teeths (maybe due to the same mutation that altered it's pigments?) never found any difficulty in chewing meat or paper or whatever. Thanks to that never ending feeding, we labeled the subject 'Gluttony' "

The worse happened to Tim. It seems like whenever food is involved, Gluttony's strenght multiplies itself. Tim was inside a strong metallic safety-cell, trying to stabilish some kind of contact with the humanoid creature, which actually chewed and stripped the cell's bars. We weren't able to determine any gender for such creature, as it always react to things the same way: eating them. "

From a secret opening, our staff managed to make the creature fall asleep with some darts. It resisted doses strong enough to affect two rhinos with ease, but it finally slept. The tech guys managed to handcuff it with our experimental stuff, but Gluttony not only resisted the tranqlyzers as it also woke up much earlier than expected. It wasn't able to break the handcuffs, but despite that it slaughtered our guys with it's mouth alone, using the wall as a mean to help it to handle the food.
What would be funny it it wasn't tragic is that, by the first time, we see it displaying some kind of inteligence: the blood stains formed some kind of a drawing of a path (the drips make it look like paths surrounded by pits... I wonder if it was on purpose?), and something really similar to the word 'Hunger' can be seen on the wall as well. "

We are all doomed. I don't know if Gluttony only realized that behind its confinments it would find food, or if it actually smelled some thing, but the fact it's out there on the facilities. It's a bit weird that instead of my prayers, I write this final report. Maybe it's some hope that anyone finds out more about this thing. It seems so... human. I wonder if he...or she... can be cured. Whatever. I can hear it's halucinated dashing across the corridor. " |
