Good job. I like the animation.

I personally dont really like photoshop for animations that much. It's great for editing photos and stuff, but for pixel art I usually just use MS Paint. Look at my avatar, I made that with paint and this online animation thing. I think once you get the hang of basic image editing software like paint (and can make great stuff with it), move on to photoshop. Just my advice.

i wanted to do that, but in all my laziness i decided that it wasn't worth dealing with through all 68 changing frames...

i'm using graphicsgale, which seems pretty low-tech. i tried amimating a sort of factory thing making a "lil dude", and it wouldn't work. i think i might be getting photoshop.

Good idea, and also the shape and proportions of the gun are very realistic. If you want to make it look less cartoonish, try dithering so it's not pillow shaded like it is now. Other than that, great job and I hope to see more of your work!
