Thank you! I did try to follow one of the '8 heads' tutorials. I obviously missed something, though. I'll try and improve next time (as I'm not really supposed to edit this piece) :)

Yeah, most obvious mistakes are in proportions. Basicaly legs are too long and too wide. There's popular diagram that human's height consists of approximately 7.5 "heads". And how the size of the head relates to other parts of body. It is not a rule, but helps while drawing at certain stages. And it's not all that you should know, however, as professional artists usually know how each muscle and bone affects on 'outside view' of human. I scanned one of the variants of diagram, it's at http://www.ljplus.ru/img3/p/i/pinwizz/Head_Diagram.jpg

ill show the anatomy as far as i can see it in the piece, and my edit of the anatomy (via pm or reply, whatever you would like)...

May I ask you to point out what exactly is wrong with the anatomy as I did try to get it right (obviously failed, lol). The arms have been shortened intentionally, though. I was hoping for a more tree-like feeling :S

you could also say it a lot more simple... anyway... i do agree that the anatomy is not completely right... i couldnt draw people either some time ago...

I learned it by looking at pictures, people passing by... and then choose a stance and kind of person to draw... and well... i can see my progress since i started...

The colours do look very nice, as jaeden said. I also like how you coloured the raindrops, one more visible than the other...

gorgeous, Love the color scheme and the hints of peach

Very impressive idea, the palette is great.

I think dithering is great, and one thing that you really need to learn now is anatomy and how to draw pretty girls in classic poses. Just take pencil for sketches and let swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated guide you!
