thanks for such descriptive comment,  I intended to draw a whole inn (front wall, and some interior), but jee, it would take me a month. It's my third pixel art, in fact, and it seems that making something bigger, is more difficult than i expected :).

There are parts of this that are pretty great and I'll gladly point them out.  The positioning of the sign is spot on, and I like how you wrote the menu text.  The lighting on the roof is exquisite.  The buttons create interesting textures and lighting efffects, a great detail. 

I would like to see more complexity in his face, especially his mouth.  It looks a little too cartoony.  Also you should give some visual cues of what's inside the Inn.  Like a log wall or mantle or back window.  Just something so it's not just void space.  And I like the kitty but it's hard to see it's shape.
