1st place at Riverwash 2007 (Oldskool graphics competition). It's a pixelled version of my true-color illustration. 32 colors, pro-motion, all pixels - as always - robotized by me.
And now - well, as always - I'm waiting for screaming "it's not a true pixel art! Kill him!"

This is probably a sore point with the Slayer situation, but I agree completely, Gil.

The palette is not optimal and your AA is dreadful. Instead of embracing the medium, you try to exploit it. Yes, this is pixel art, it's just very sloppy third-grade pixel art.
I like the image, it's a pretty picture. Next time put some technique into it too.

"Stars Die" is a FIRST picture here, that is based on true-color illustration, so I really don't understand your question.

Yes, I'm planning to show the stages of making my graphics with some descriptions (mamy people asked about it), but I want to preapre something like tutorial - so it needs some time to finish
well, what can I say? congrats! -- you know what I think about it.
and hey, the one thing that still keeps me wondering. . . like, y'know, why do you always pixelate stuff on that true-colour ground? I ain't saying it's kinda wrong, but-- why not trying something all new?
WOW, spectacular use of pallet on this. GREAT job!

I'm not digging the stylized eyes. I would have opted for a more realistic look for the eyes(at least push em' back a bit. They kind of have this Picasso thing going on...though that may have been intentional.) Everything else, however, is great as usual. I've always liked your robotic type structured designs...
