I remade the entire scene using the same style as the original, which was the challenge. Either remake the scene in the same style or a different style all together. If you look closely they are different. I started with a blank slate, so I didn't just rip the screenshot and modify it.

The point was a remake, not grab the original game and make some tweaking here and there.

I actually made this from scratch, the background and stage is not exactly the same as the original. And yes I really like Snake's remake, and if I had that much talent... well It woulda been better.

This is really just an edit.

In fact, this looks a lot like it could be a screen shot of a hacked "Kung Fu" rom. Check out Snake's remake. You could learn a lot from him.

The only differences I see are the characters and HUD. Why not be a bit more creative?
