Been focusing mostly on my painting lately, so I figured I'd do a little pixeling. Love the old NES games. Had a hard time deciding which game to remake. All the original and simple games like Exitebike, Balloon fight, Rivercity Ransom, Kid Ikarus and others are great alternatives. I settled on Kung Fu since it could do with a makeover.

I always fealt the pink guys were trying to hug you to death rather than kill you, so I emphasised on that. This is also how I would picture the backgroud while playing. Lake in the front and tradidtional stone guarden in the back.

Was planning on doing a true to the original powerbar, but a lot of the info was pretty unnesessary and a standard beam 'em up layout worked better. It also enhanced the 2 player aspect that was pretty bad in the original (Basically you take turns)

Nice exercise.
