Remake of Wonder Boy in Monster Land - one of not many well made arcade conversions for Sega Master System. It's 20 years since it's release, wonder why sega doesn't celebrate it. Also great name for the main character - good that my childhood friends didn't knew it's meaning.
Very nice:) I'm not keen on the design for Wonder Boy himself but everything else is great, like a 16-bit update of the original should've looked. Sega did celebrate the WB series with the Monster World Collection but it's jap only.
Very nice overall, tiles are beautiful, but Wonderboy himself just looks...well, weird. I was considering doing Monster Land (even this exact same scene) or the Dragon's Trap, but unfortunately didn't get time.
